The only succulent-leaved labiate on Soqotra. The leaves when crushed are strongly aromatic.

Plectranthus socotranus is a species of flowering plant in the Lamiaceae family. It is found only in Yemen. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests and rocky areas.
